General Questions
How can I obtain low-vision occupational therapy?
Vision rehab occupational therapy can be ordered through eye care physician referral. InSight OT can provide a referral form to physicians to easily complete and initiate the process.
Do you accept health insurance?
InSight OT currently accepts traditional Medicare insurance.
What are some of the eye diagnoses that may result in vision loss that you have worked with?
Macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, visual field deficits from a stroke or brain injury, retinitis pigmentosa, Stargardt’s disease, cone-rod dystrophy, ischemic optic neuropathy, central retinal vein occlusion and many more.
What can you do to help me?
Occupational therapists are interested in tapping into who you are as a person, to identify what is meaningful and needed for you to do each day. They listen to you, then help you to learn the devices or strategies that may help you to accomplish your goals.
